Red Dot has denim back in its range

Streetwear brand Red Dot has reintroduced denim to its collection for autumn 08 as it focuses on growing its UK business.

The new denim arm will be Red Dot's first jeans range for three seasons, and the basic jean comes in black, indigo and black and white stripes.

The brand's PR and marketing has been brought in-house in a bid to grow its UK accounts.  Jon Connelly from Surgery PR was appointed in January as global PR and marketing manager to spearhead the UK drive.

Connelly said: "When Red Dot decided to expand internationally in 2003, it lost its way a bit in the UK. Its London standalone store closed and the number of accounts fell from 40 to 10. Our aim with the new autumn 08 collection is to retarget key doors such as Selfridges, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, who all used to stock the brand."

The collection comprises  40 pieces, including the new denim line, and wholesale prices start at £12. For more details, call 020 7631 4483.
