"My designs are always fabric sensitive and wearable, whilst being slightly quirky and humorous. Recycling old garments is often a starting point for my designs, whilst the treasure I find in local charity shops is the inspiration behind them. I deconstruct second-hand leather garments, from which I cut new garment panels and hand blanket stitch them to turn unwanted items into contemporary desirable pieces with a more precious life.
My prints are inspired by the floral prints of unwanted bed sheets, animal ornaments and bric-a-brac. I'd say the wearer is someone comfortable in their own skin and who doesn't take life too seriously."
