Pepe Jeans London is to launch a full menswear and womens-wear range for autumn 08 in conjunction with arts trust The Andy Warhol Foundation.
The Andy Warhol Collection by Pepe Jeans London will comprise 250 pieces, including denim with pocket linings and embellishments featuring images from Warhol's work, as well as tailored casualwear and a full line of accessories.The collection will be divided into two themes, Pop and Factory. Pop uses famous Warhol prints such as the Campbell's Soup Cans and his images of Marilyn Monroe. The Factory range is inspired by the artists' muses and followers who frequented his New York studio in the 1960s.
The new line will debut at an invitation-only show at Bread & Butter in Barcelona from January 16-18, and will also be exhibited at Pitti Uomo in Florence on January 9-12.
