Streetwear etailer Yukka has launched a new website to introduce premium US street-wear brands to the UK market.

Yukka already has an online store at www.yukka.co.uk, which launched in 2003. However, the new deluxe site at www.yukkadeluxe.com will showcase premium lines and aims to increase average transaction values from £70 to £150 on the deluxe site.

The website will stock brands such as US label Crooks & Castles, alongside Marc Ecko Cut & Sew, a premium range from streetwear brand Ecko.

Owner Robby Sur said the site is designed to bring new labels to market. "We are pursuing new brands and in the first few weeks of trading we have had good feedback from the site," he said. "There are 12 brands on there at the moment but that will grow."

US brand Artful Dodger, which was recently bought by rap star Jay-Z, will also be sold on the site alongside Amplified's rock music-inspired T-shirts, casual lifestyle clothing brand Junk Food and Yen jeans.
