Contemporary menswear brand Modern Amusement is launching its first womenswear collection for autumn 08.
The women's range will replicate the clean lines, quirky details and modern design aesthetic associated with the menswear range. Designs will include influences from industrial design, contemporary art, music, surf and skate cultures.
The brand launched a range of women's swimwear for spring 08, which is still available to buy. The swimwear is produced via a licensing deal with Californian manufacturer Lunada Bay.
Swimwear prices start at £60, with bikinis from £45. Womenswear prices have yet to be confirmed.
Modern Amusement's menswear range arrived in the UK two years ago and has about 100 UK stockists.
It is distributed by Red Brand, which also manages Luke and Tootal Vintage.
