Hash Ladha’s CV is packed, with stints at Evans, Topman, Bhs, Dorothy Perkins, New Look, Asos and now Aurora Fashions, where he is in charge of leading an aggressive integrated multichannel push in the UK and overseas, as well as helping the group learn more about its shoppers’ buying preferences.
Despite studying a law degree at The University of Wales, Ladha was more inspired by his Saturday job at Evans in Swansea and wrote to the company asking for a job at head office.
“I don’t think age is relevant. I know people older than me who have tonnes of energy and some younger with less energy,” he says. “I don’t know everything but what I do know I know well. I learn from people above and below me, and from people on my team and outside.”
