Profits keep sliding at Ann Summers
Profits at lingerie retailer Ann Summers halved last year, despite the chain opening 12 new stores. According to accounts filed at Companies House this month, pre-tax profits for the year to June 30 2006 fell to £1.53 million, down from £3m the previous year. Sales also fell £117m to £110m during the same period.
