Oxford Street lights get Disney treatment

Oxford Street will take on an enchanted theme this Christmas as it teams up Disney for the Christmas lights launch.

An overhead canopy of lights will bring to life Disney's big Christmas movie "Enchanted" next month. The lights will be switched on at the John Lewis store on Oxford Street on November 7, by an as yet unnamed celebrity. The afternoon will also feature entertainment and live stage shows.

Past celebrities to switch on the lights have been Westlife, Charlotte Church and The Spice Girls.
