Liberty linked to Target collaboration

Liberty, the iconic London department store, is reported to be in talks with US value chain Target about a collaboration on clothing next year.

According to reports, talks between Liberty and Target are at an advanced stage. The collection would potentially launch for spring 10 and would likely feature a range of clothing and accessories pieces worked in iconic Liberty print fabrics.

Liberty prints have already been used by several high street fashion chains in the UK, including Topshop and Gap. The department store has also linked up with designers and celebrities such as Luella Bartley and Ronnie Wood to help boost brand rescognition.
