Fashionair on hunt for next presenting star at Selfridges, the fashion website launched by pop svengali Simon Fuller, will host a series of events at Selfridges including a competition to become one of its presenters to celebrate the site’s official launch later this week.

Fashionair will hold open castings to find a presenter for some of the video content on its site. The castings will be held every evening between September 17-26 at between 5pm and 9pm on weekdays and between 2pm and 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays within the Fashionair installation at Selfridges.

Fashionair is also calling for shoppers to come and show off their favourite outfits, which they will film and take photos of. The Fashionair and Selfridges teams will also scout for stylish shoppers in the department store during September and will be on hand to offer style tips.

Fashionair goes live on September 3. It was set up by Fuller and Sojin Lee, formerly of Net-a-Porter. The site is driven by editorial fashion content but shoppers are advised where they can buy the products featured.
