Herve Leger creative director leaves

Marie Mazelis, creative director at luxury brand Herve Leger and contemporary womenswear label BCBG Max Azria, has left the company after more than ten years.

A statement from BCBG Max Azria Group said that Mazelis, who reports into chief creative officer Lubov Azria, would no longer be with the company.

The statement added that Azria will continue to oversee all brands and the Herve Leger line will continue as nomral with the spring 12 show scheduled for September.

Earlier this year, it was reported that BCBG Max Azria was looking to secure a $230m (£140m) loan to refinance a portion of its debt.
