Streetwear brand Sinstar is taking its first step into retail with a pop-up store in Boxpark.
The label is one of the brands to be chosen for a three month stint after the Shoreditch pop up mall launched a competition offering a brand or retailer the chance to win a unit rent free for three months.
The store will launch on March 9 and showcase the spring 13 collection comprising graphic T-shirts, sweat tops, hoodies, sweat pants, dip dye chinos and shorts, onesies and denim jackets.
Sam Bell, joint owner and director of Sinstar, said: “This gives us the opportunity to bring Sin Star to life and engage with our customers. There is always such an energy around the area, so we are looking forward to getting inspired.”
To celebrate the launch Sinstar has appointed artist Hannah Adamaszek to paint an original canvas on the launch day. Once completed a section of the work will be used to create a limited edition T-shirt to be sold exclusively at the shop.
Brands including Lacoste, Dockers and Gola Classics have all recently shut their pop-up stores in Boxpark.
