This trend is set to continue, particularly in the current climate of high fuel & food prices with consumers looking for the best value they can find. I saw this myself recently when I was buying some new shoes for my daughter in a local kids footwear store. I overheard another customer on their way out of the shop, openly say after her children had tried on some shoes. "..I will see how much I can buy these for online..". Speaking to other retailers this is a common theme in the high street, with shoppers noting prices, leaving to buy online?
