Elégance, the international ladies designer fashion label is continuing its push into the UK wholesale market for Spring/Summer 11, and will be showing at Pure and Moda in August.
Established in Germany over 70 years ago, the brand arrived in the UK in 1992 and has carved a niche in the over 45s womenswear market by offering mail order prêt-a-porter collections season after season. In the UK, the business is also supported by its flagship boutique just off New Bond Street in Central London.
The company, is now looking to offer its prestige and expertise in design to the retail market and launched its first ever retail collection at Pure in February. After gaining several stockists across the UK, Elégance will be showcasing its Spring/Summer 2011 collection at Pure, and for the first time, at Moda in August.
The Spring/Summer 2011 collection includes 500 pieces with 150 basic items. All pieces are designed to be fully coordinated, and provide the discerning woman with key trends in wearable styles, and classic, quality pieces which she’ll love forever. Fabrics are the finest silk, lightest wool and softest lambskin, patterns are exclusive to Elégance and the detailing is of the highest standard.
Everything about the Elégance Spring/Summer collection can be effortlessly mixed and matched and offers a wearable wardrobe whatever the occasion. From Ascot and Henley to relaxed city breaks, sophisticated weddings or family barbecues, styles are slick and feminine, and this season, special attention is paid to the jacket. The tailored blazer is back - and appears in a number of styles from classic and feminine bouclé through to on-trend asymmetric in bold royal blue.
Taking inspiration from Hollywood icons like Audrey Hepburn, dress and skirt shapes and styles are easy to wear and ooze sophisticated femininity. The bold, prominent colour palette of flashy neon green, royal blue and orange sits elegantly alongside a mix of neutral pastels and provides a welcome flash of summer. All pieces in the collection are available in sizes 8-20.
