1980s Trainers

1980s inspired trainers was probably the strongest trend story to come out of Bread & Butter. But most of the looks were recycled and rehashed from last season or tweaked just enough to make them interesting for spring 09. Running shoe shapes were updated with thicker soles and high tops were chunky and full on. Neon or bright colour blocking or trims and laces were also important in this category, though this was toned down in some collections with grey suede and black nylon.
