Punk

With a heavy Vivienne Westwood inspiration, punk is set to be one of the high street's biggest investments for autumn 08. Red tartan leads the trend, and features with a matching rosette on Mary Janes at River Island, teamed with studs and black panels on a New Look shoeboot, and given the multistrap effect at Faith. Alongside checks, other key features of the punk trend are plenty of red and black, preferably on chunky boots, such as at Office, or on a more textured variety.
