Ski

Quilted down- and polyester-filled jackets that smacked of the ski slopes featured strongly across casual and classic collections. At brands with streetwear leanings, designers had given the garments a more retro look by keeping the silhouette cropped bumfreezer style and adding coloured banding reminiscent of the 1970s.

At the premium Italian brands there were also longer coat-style versions where the emphasis was on giving this utilitarian item a sense of luxury through the use of satin shiny surfaces, metallics and fur trims.
