Outerwear

The increasing emphasis on transitional product saw more lightweight outerwear than at previous shows. Some of the trends seen at Pitti Uomo in Florence were at Moda including nylon bomber jackets with a nod to the technical. Matinique and Without Prejudice in the exhibition's new Moda Platform area had the most contemporary versions, while Italian brand Navigare gave the style a more classic treatment. Lightweight biker/bomber combinations were seen at Camel Active while Bruno St Hilaire's four pocket casual jacket in linen was well placed to cope with the erratic British weather.
