Opulence

Fur and astrakhan trims on overcoats, jackets and cardigans lent a deeply luxurious feel to autumn's outerwear, with deep fur collars reminiscent of turn-of-the-century dandies. The look was mostly formal, although some brands played with the trend by adding fur collars on chunky knitwear.

Fur-trimmed hoods also looked to be rearing their head again on sportier and more technical outerwear garments beyond the obvious snorkel hood. Fur trims aside, this sense of indulgence and premiumisation also spread to suits and jackets via high-shine wovens.
