Quirky collars

Rounded penny collars, mandarin and spear collars all made their mark for autumn 08. The freshest and strongest look was the rounded collar which, influenced by an Edwardian look, has started to make an impact at more fashion-centric brands. Several labels used the style to update sharper slim-fit suits and more classic single-breasted jackets. And although mandarin collars were evident in a number of collections, this look is less likely to be picked up by UK buyers.
