Knitted Ties

The sartorial signature of the Duke of Windsor was summoned by the resurgence of knitted ties in his eponymous knot. Heavy-gauge versions added much-needed texture and the opportunity to add colour to the mono-grey colour palette. Ties were not always skinny, so it is a look with a wider age appeal this season. Lustrous yarns added a touch of glamour, while other versions had a more hand-crafted feel, adding dressed-down informality to a classically tailored look.
