Geometrics
On prints and knits,, the stark contrasts of geometric prints - usually oversized - injected a dynamism into streetwear that recalled the 1980s styling and early Soviet constructive art. These styles were full of energy and motion, an apt theme for streetwear, but in reality the trend was more about diluting nu-rave and rock styles for a more democratic audience.
