Checks

Checks were one of the biggest trends for this market for autumn 08, translating well from their young fashion home, and womenswear brands really went to town with them, adorning checked jackets with oversized collars, ruffles and bow details. This season, the trend is still there, but is much more subdued. The main colourway is monochrome, with the size of the checks the only real point of difference, ranging from small ginghams to bigger houndstooth.
