Colour

Judging by the profusion of colour this summer consumer appetite for bright shades has rarely been stronger, and designers of the Pure collections have clearly taken note. While prints provide the perfect frame for the brightest shades there was plenty of colour blocking too. Many brands were re-introducing autumn 08 colours into their first delivery phase for spring09 – think purples, greens, reds, yellow and orange – while high summer shades become much softer dominated by lavender and powder grey pastels through to stronger coral pink and dusky rose tones.
