Strong, body conscious silhouettes are softened with feminine detailing such as ruffles, lace, pleats and pussy bows. Tailored trousers and leather jackets are worn with slinky silk shirts, tweed swing jackets are teamed with black pencil skirts, while trenches with button embellishment are worn with bootcut trousers. Edgier styles include a cropped leather bomber jacket and split thigh skirt.  A nod to the 1970s comes in the form of chunky, oversized knit cardigans, a satin jumpsuit, high waisted flare jeans and gilets in fluffy shearling. An array of sophisticated cocktail dresses in short and floor length styles come in rich jewel tones and feature origami folds and angular pleats.

Right for the market?
While spring 08 offered a selection of more casual looks, autumn nails strength, sophistication and a heightened sense of luxury which should appeal to the core customer. Followers of the brand should also take to the exaggerated feminine detailing, rich textures such as tweed and satin, jewelled tones and elegant tailoring.
