CC has taken more inspiration from the catwalk this season, translating some of the more commercial trends into the brand's classic style. These include the checks from Marc Jacobs which head up a red, grey and black story. Knitwear is strong, with lightweight cardigans adorned with bows and clusters of buttons or given bell sleeves, while nipped in tweed jackets are a good workwear option. The Christmas drop draws its ideas from the silent movies of the 1940s and includes lace overlays and luxurious velvet devore in black, peacock blue and gold. Hot pink adds playfulness to outerwear.
