Warehouse

Key Looks
Warehouse is channelling new boho meets vintage glamour for autumn. Daywear features the ubiquitous ruffled tops and some high necked blouses, while prints come in the form of 1970s geometrics and paisleys. Colours are demure, with moss, aubergine and plenty of black, and Victoriana influences show in lace overlays and puff sleeves gathered at the wrist. Layers of blue and green satin on tiered floor and knee length dresses add the glamour to eveningwear, while a Studio 54 inspiration throws up a silver satin jumpsuit option. Checks appear on reserved pencil skirts and shorter kilt incarnations.

Right for the market?
While Warehouse has put in some real attention to detail and created a strongly coherent offering for autumn, its regular customer will miss the girlishness more usually associated with the brand, and may struggle to embrace this new, more prim feel.
