Kane's collection was well received at LFW yesterday

Christopher Kane showed a collection inspired by the Pre-Raphelites for autumn 08.

Kane, who is one of the rising stars of at London Fashion Week, shifted away from the body-con silhouette he championed and produced a collection of chiffon dresses, cable knit jumper dresses, boxy jackets and midi-skirts. The designer, who is sponsored by Topshop, also used giant sequins as body-plating and silk ruffles and tiering on dresses.

Other designers to show yesterday included Nathan Jenden, Marios Schwab and Betty Jackson.
