The RE:Fashion Awards will recognise ethical fashion companies

Anti-Apathy, Ethical Fashion Forum and Futerra Sustainability Communications have joined forces to set up the RE:Fashion Awards to recognise ethical fashion companies.

RE:Fashion has signed up high profile partners including Whistles chief executive Jane Shepherdson, The Daily Telegraph fashion editor Hilary Alexander, Zandra Rhodes and Katharine Hamnett to advise on the awards.

The awards will recognise designers, manufacturers, retailers, innovators and marketing campaigns.

Esthetica, the eco area within The Exhibition at London Fashion Week, will also award a prize of a free stand at the show for two seasons to a selection of short-listed designers.

The closing date for entries is August 20. The ceremony will take place November 13 at Shoreditch Town Hall in London.
