Luxury brand Hermes has won a court case against ebay, over counterfeit products sold on the website.

Hermes said that ebay had failed to monitor the authenticity of goods being sold on its website.

Ebay is understood to have been ordered to pay Hermes €20,000 in damages, although this figures has not been confirmed.
