Christopher Kane won the Scottish Designer of the Year Award for the second year running

The best in Scottish fashion talent lit up the tartan carpet at Stirling castle for the third annual Scottish Fashion Awards last night.

Christopher Kane scooped the Scottish Designer of the Year Award for the second year running, tailor Norton & Sons took the Scottish Retailer of the Year Award and House of Holland walked away with the accolade for the Best use of Tartan by an International Designer.

New talent was also recognised with Graeme Armour receiving the Young Designer of the Year Award and Bebaroque Hosiery and their screen printed tights, nabbing the Accessory Designer of the Year Award.

The Textile Brand of the Year Award went to Johnston's of Elgin and Scottish-born hair stylist Sam McKnight was inducted into the Scottish Fashion Awards Hall of Fame.
