UK Fashion Exports winners announced

Joseph Ettedgui, founder of Joseph, picked up the Export Personality of the Year at yesterday's UK Fashion Exports Awards while Orla Kiely scooped the top prize for Gold Award for Exporter of the Year.
Other winners were mainstream middle market womenswear brand Ariella, which picked up the Womenswear Award and knitwear brand John Smedley which won the Men's Fashion Award.
The Women's Accessories Award went to jewellery and accessory designer Sam Ubhi and Denisonboston, which started out as a cufflink brand, was awarded the Men's Accessories gong.
Amoralia, the specialist luxury maternity lingerie brand, won the Lingerie and Beachwear Award.
Accessories brand Chris & Tibor, which was set up by former Burberry Prorsum designers Chris Liu and Tibor Matyas in 2006, was given the New Exporter prize.
The Ethical Fashion Award went to Eribé, which is best known for its hand knitted products.
Emile et Rose, the gift-orientated babywear company, won the Children's Fashion Award.
Paul Alger, executive director of UK Fashion Exports, said: "British companies are having to be even more creative both with their collections and their marketing to grow their exports year on year, but our Award winners and finalists demonstrate it can be done. Membership of UK Fashion Exports is increasing as more companies are looking for us to provide the expertise to help them sell overseas."
