Hardy Amies has gone into administration.

The board of the company said that after careful consideration of the financial position of the company, it had no choice but to appoint administrators. The administrator is Kroll.

Last month, Hardy Amies field an intention to appoint administrators after major stakeholder Arev declined to give further funding for the business.

The company said that it had since been in negotiations with a number of parties about funding but that no deal had been finalised.
