Farah has expanded into Vintage and Golf lines

Peter Abbiss, managing director of Farah distributor Perry Ellis Europe, has retired after nine years in the role.

Abbiss was responsible for growing the distribution of the Farah brand and extensions into the Farah Vintage and Farah Golf lines, as well as the European launch of the Original Penguin brand two years ago.

A new permanent managing director will be announced in due course. Perry Ellis Europe financial director Bernie Keasley will take on the role in the interim.

The company has appointed a European sales manager and retail operations manager to help expand the business outside the UK.
