Asos announces Ltd 100 winner

London College of Fashion final year student Lui Sin Ki has been judged the overall winner of the Asos Ltd 100 collection competition last night. She produced a black, structural dress inspired by architectural buildings.

 

Sin Ki told Drapers: "I looked at structures, lines and square shapes. The silhouette always comes first, I develop every part of the garment after that."

Sin Ki will be given a paid internship within the Asos design team and an all expenses trip to Hong Kong. Other category winners included London College of Fashion student Samantha Ball for menswear, Ursula Inglis-Jones for accessories and Sin Ki again for womenswear.

Ltd 100 is a one-off collection comprising of 100 pieces, including womenswear, menswear and accessories, designed by London College of Fashion final year students. The collection will go on sale at Asos.com on June 16 at 1pm.
