Surfwear brand Hot Tuna is to open its first European flagship store in Shoreditch, London next month.

The store, which will be located alongside other independent boutiques, will stock its latest revamped collections. The London opening will follow the brands first store in LA, which opened in May.

The retailer's European showroom will also operate from the second floor of the Shoreditch store.

Hot Tuna plans to open concessions in House of Fraser, as well as in US retailers Fred Segal and Patricia Fields,El Corte Ingles in Spain and David Jones and Myers in Australia by next spring.

Hot Tuna is currently stocked in over 250 independent boutiques worldwide. It is showcasing its new SS 09 collections at Bread and Butter in Barcelona this week.
