UK attendance up at Bread & Butter

Last week's Bread & Butter Barcelona saw visitor numbers from the UK and Republic of Ireland rise 12.8% to 7,516 against July 2007.
Attendance at Bread & Butter also increase from the following countries: France, Benelux, the US and Canada, Austria and Switzerland, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Greece, South America and Central America, Japan, Hong Kong and China and Australia and New Zealand.
However attendance fell from Spain and Portugal where visitor numbers dropped from 34,190 last year to 29,997 this season. Attendance from Italy, Germany, Russia and South Korea was also down.
Overall attendance at the show fell 2.5% against the July 2007 edition.
Bread & Butter said that it was pleased with visitor numbers and that the percentage of foreign visitors was now up to 68.5%.
