2017 has been a big year for fast fashion womenswear retailer Quiz – in July, it listed on the London Stock Exchange’s junior Aim market, valuing it at £200m. Steered by founder and managing director Tarak Ramzan, the business is using the money raised to accelerate its growth.
In November, it reported a 35% rise in group revenue to £56.1m in the six months to 30 September, compared with the same period last year. Its performance was boosted by international expansion, including the launch of its first localised website in Spain. Quiz is now poised to launch a website in the US, and further expand its online presence in mainland Europe. It has also set a target of opening 20 UK stores and concessions in the next two years.
