Lev Tanju, founder and owner, Palace

Lev Tanju is the brains behind one of fashion’s buzziest brands: British skatewear label Palace, launched in 2010.

It partnered with Adidas on a Wimbledon-inspired tennis range and a line of footwear this year. It has also collaborated with Ralph Lauren on a collection, and opened its first store in Tokyo in November.

Tanju was an early pioneer of the “drop”, unveiling tightly controlled selections of Palace product at a certain time online and in store each week, in a model that has been quickly adopted by larger luxury players.
