Liz Evans’ final year at the helm of Oasis and Warehouse has been a solid one, underpinned by improved digital sales and a fresh approach to stores across the group.
In September, the business reported a 48% rise in joint EBITDA to £9.5m for the year to 24 February, while total sales edged up 0.1% to £275.2m.
After successfully trialling a “local store” approach in Farnham, Surrey, Oasis has rolled out this format to other market towns. It also expanded its product offer to include bridesmaid and curve collections, and homeware and candles, and revealed plans to launch concessions in Sainsbury’s next year.
Warehouse, meanwhile, returned to profit in the second half of the financial year and continues to focus on wholesale and international growth. It unveiled a collaboration with London Fashion Week designer Ashish in November.
