British heritage brand Aertex has relaunched its underwear collection three seasons after axeing it.
The relaunch was prompted by unexpected online demand from consumers who, according to the brand, helped clear Aertex’s leftover underwear stock which it sold via its website. The brand is now relaunching its trunks, T-shirts and vests.
The spring 10 range comprises trunks and crew-neck T-shirts both at £7.50 for a pack of two, while vests are £7 for a two-pack. The brand said quicker deliveries would be available from stock.
Aertex’s managing director Ellis Franks said: “It seems in these uncertain times that people are going back to brands and product they can trust. We stopped making the underwear for a while because the factory we were using closed down. However, we have since found another one capable of producing our unique cellular fabric, and it’s great we will still be able to have ‘Made in England’ on the label.”
