American Vogue launches online archive

Vogue has today unveiled the launch of the Vogue Archive, an online archive of every issue of American Vogue from 1892 to the present day.

The archive which can be accessed at is powered by WGSN, the world’s largest fashion forecaster, which is also owned by Drapers’ publisher Emap.

The Vogue Archive allows users to search and refine results in numerous ways including by articles, images, covers or advertisements. Users can also browse by decade, select a particular issue and refine searches by brand or photographer and search by colours, material or clothing.

The archive will be updated monthly with the latest issue of Vogue and access is available with an annual online subscription through WGSN.

For academic institutions and libraries, the Vogue Archive is available from ProQuest, a provider of digital-research resources.
