Thanks for all your comments. Remember that the annual Inspiring Independents list is put together by you, the industry, and not by Drapers. We ask the industry (brands, suppliers, multiples, indies - everyone) to nominate their most inspiring independents. The 100 with the most votes are then asked to rank each other. So, if you feel an indie should be represented next year, vote for them.
Thanks for your comments. You might be interested in reading our analysis on this particular sector in this week's issue of Drapers - it's a much more in-depth feature, as the above is a comment piece.
Feel free to get in touch - email@example.com - to discuss this in more depth. All the boutiques I've spoken to about Farfetch, including Giulio in Cambridge, Larizia in London, L'Eclaireur in Paris and Smets in Brussels (to name just a few) have all praised the business, explaining that Farfetch strips out a lot of costs for them, including logistics, shipping, AdSense, etc. But I'd be more than happy to discuss all this with you.
Hello Lindsay. If you'd like to join us at the Academy in March, send a tweet to @Drapers telling us why we should select you, using the hashtag #DRNEXTGEN. Good luck!
