Asos pledges commitment to Fur Free programme

Etail giant Asos has become the latest retailer to pledge its commitment to join the Fur Free Retailer Program.

The Fur Free Retailer Program is an international effort to give consumers accurate information about a retailer’s fur policy, allowing consumers to make an informed choice when shopping.

Yesterday Asos announced on Twitter that it is now officially a Fur Free Retailer.

According to a statement on the Fur Free Retailer Program, website Asos signed-up to the programme on June 29 after working with Respect For Animals campaign, which campaigns against the international fur trade.
