Axle Woman moves into Voisins

Voisins department store in Jersey has teamed up with mini chain Axle Woman to relaunch the Voisins’ womenswear department.

Axle Woman, which is part of Jersey-based retail business Collections Group, will go into Voisins’ King Street store in St Helier in August. The brand line-up will include Nicole
Farhi, Joseph, MaxMara, Armani Jeans, French Connection, Miss Sixty, Diesel and 7 For All Mankind.

Collections Group managing director Richard Clews said: “With more than a million pounds being invested in the new retail space, this is welcome relief in the economic climate and reflects the confidence both Collections Group and Voisins have in our retail offerings, which continually evolve to take into account changes in tastes, styles and trends.”

The Collections Group’s Axle Woman store in Beresford Street in St Helier, and its French Connection franchise store in King Street, will both close, with staff being relocated to the womenswear department at Voisins.

The Collections Group runs 14 women’s, men’s and kids’ wear formats in both Jersey and the Isle of Man under several different fascias, including Axle Woman, Axle Man and Axle Junior.
