Barbour teams up with Paul Smith for autumn 12 concept collection

Heritage and lifestyle brand Barbour has teamed up with Paul Smith jeans to produce a ‘small, concept-based’ autumn 12 collection that will launch in September.

So far only limited information about the collaboration is being released, but Drapers has been told that the collection will incorporate both menswear and womenswear, including jackets, shirts, men’s trousers and ladies tees.

The collection, described as ‘small and concept-based’, was born from a desire to unite two successful British brands, both of whom enjoy an enduring popularity among fashion-conscious shoppers.

More information about the collaboration is due to be announced in March, while the collection is due to be available in Paul Smith shops and other leading independent stockists worldwide in September.
