B&B turns up volume by adding new areas

Streetwear show Bread & Butter has unveiled the theme ‘High Fidelity’ for its autumn 12 edition, and added two concept areas focusing on add-on items and heritage brands.

The trade show, which will take place on January 18-20 at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport, celebrated its 10-year anniversary in August. The High Fidelity concept aims to go “one louder” than last season’s show.

According to Bread & Butter, it will showcase “high voltage entertainment” with new areas the Treasury, LOCK Fire Dept, and DOCK.

The Treasury area will focus on accessories and on “offering the latest refreshers and must-have add-ons”. Brands already signed up to the Treasury include footwear brand Ravel and lingerie brand Playful Promises.

The LOCK Fire Dept will be based in the old fire station at Tempelhof. The LOCK area has traditionally featured heritage brands at the show, and the new LOCK Fire Dept will showcase more niche brands than LOCK.

DOCK will exhibit more premium, grown-up streetwear.
