Hiut Denim, Mark Powell Bespoke Tailoring and Harris Tweed are among the UK businesses taking part in a showcase of UK-produced brands later this year.

Best of Britannia, which will takes place from 5-7 October at the Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell, London will showcase British-made lifestyle brands from bikes through to fashion and footwear.

The show is for both trade and consumers but the first day will aimed solely at trade buyers. The following days will see brands selling directly to the public.

Only companies support UK manufacturing will be selected to show at this event and all products shown will be made in Britain.

“I believe that a product’s provenance is of the utmost importance,” said Best of Britannia curator Antony Wallis.  “By buying authentic British bikes, cars, furniture, clothing and accessories, produced by skilled craftsmen using the finest materials, we are helping to keep these skills alive – let quality enjoy a revival.”
