BFA plots publicity support for members

The British Footwear Association (BFA) has today announced a new collaboration with two London-based PR agencies to offer bespoke PR support to developing footwear brands.

The BFA PR mentoring programme, in association with Wingfield PR and Cow PR, is designed to assist BFA member brands develop their brand identity and support their expansion.

Cow PR, under its newly launched fashion and lifestyle division Cow Boutique, will be developing campaigns for footwear brands Julian Hakes, Miista and John White Shoes. 

While Wingfield PR will be representing brands including Northern Cobbler, Red by Wolves and Coco Rose London to create brand awareness and exposure.

“We’re delighted to be launching an additional level of support for our members with emerging brands,” said Richard Kottler chief executive of the BFA. 

“PR and marketing programmes are often out of reach for start-ups and smaller brands, yet it is one of the most beneficial forms of business development.  We’re looking forward to working with Wingfield and Cow PR over the coming years.”
