BFA supports insurance fight

Richard Kottler, chief executive of the British Footwear Association (BFA), has written to British Clothing Industry Association (BCIA) chairman Peter Lucas to pledge his support for Lucas’s Credit Insurance Campaign.

Kottler told Drapers he wholeheartedly backed Lucas’s bid to get the government to offer credit insurance on domestic orders for fashion suppliers.

Drapers would urge any footwear or clothing supplier that has had its business negatively impacted by the withdrawal of or reduction in credit insurance to contact the BCIA.
